Building words, learning letter-sound relationships and recognizing word patterns are much easier with the large, easily interchangeable, color-coded Word Bits cards. Kids’ ability to recognize differences in sounds (phonemes) is an important first step in learning to understand the spoken and written language. The color-coded cards allow kids to manipulate sounds within words by adding, exchanging, deleting or moving cards to form new words.
